Flange Gate Valve
Profile

Gate valve refers to the valve that the closing member (gate) moves in the vertical direction along the center line of the access.
Gate valves are mainly used for cutting off in pipelines.
Gate valves are a widely used type of valve.
Gate valves in the pipeline can only be fully open and fully closed for blocking, not for regulation and throttling.

  1. Small flow resistance. The medium channel inside the valve body is straight through, the medium flows in a straight line, and the flow resistance is small.
  2. Less effort when opening and closing.Compared with the globe valve, whether it is open or closed, the direction of movement of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of flow of the medium.

3, high height, long opening and closing time. The opening and closing stroke of the gate is large, and the lowering is carried out through the screw.

4, water hammer phenomenon is not easy to produce as long shutdown time.

5, the medium can flow in any direction to both sides, easy to install.

Gate valve channels are symmetrical on both sides.

6, the length of the structure (the distance between the two connecting ends of the shell) face to face is short.

7, the shape is simple, the structure length is short, the manufacturing technology is good, the application scope is wide.

8, Compact structure, good valve rigidity, smooth channel, small flow resistance, sealing surface made of stainless steel and hard alloy, long service life, PTFE packing.

Reliable seal.

The operation is light and flexible.
